Ardgowan Club

Ever thought of trying Bowls?

As part of Bowls Scotland ‘Try Bowls’ campaign 2018
Ardgowan Club invite you to come and try sessions.

The club situated on Ardgowan Square, Greenock may hold a fun and games night during the season to come in 2018.

The evening would be for all ages and will give potential new members an opportunity to ‘Try Bowls’. As well as trying bowls, games will also be set up on the greens where you can try and get the highest score of the evening. The session will finish with a family quiz in the clubhouse.

The club is also holding a series of ‘Come and Try Bowls’ sessions on the following Saturday mornings; in the early part of 2018 season,
all sessions start at 10:15. Coaching is available if requested.

Bowls will be provided for all those taking part; all the club asks is that participants wear flat soled footwear.

Bowls is a unique sport in that it is fully inclusive and anyone can play it at any age, ability or fitness level.

Over the past 150 years and more Bowls has been one of the great Scottish sporting success stories and offers opportunities for everyone to get involved.

To find out more about the club visit or you can contact the club (01475 723418) for more information.

Club President Brian Lindsay added "Anyone wanting to join Ardgowan Club will find a warm welcome with plenty of help to settle in."
